Where We
Come From
Pragya Cyber was founded by practitioners — professionals who spent decades delivering security programmes inside major corporations, not consultants who studied them from the outside.
We saw a gap: mid-market companies were either overpaying for enterprise firms that treated them as small accounts, or taking their chances with generalist IT providers who lacked real security depth.
We set out to change that. A firm that delivers to big-four standards, charges like a boutique, and never loses sight of who is actually doing the work.

The Team
Vasu has 25+ years of experience spanning software engineering, data analytics, and enterprise cybersecurity. He has led security initiatives at Intergraph and NCR Hyderabad, co-founded Analysabl, and built Pragya into a firm trusted by clients from Hyderabad to Houston. He remains actively involved in every significant engagement — his name is on the work.
Venu is a technology evangelist with 24+ years of industry experience spanning enterprise security, SAP platforms, and OT/IoT environments. At SAP, he delivered across NetWeaver, HANA, Mobility, and Leonardo — developing an unusually deep understanding of how enterprise software is built and, therefore, how it can be broken. At Check Point, he headed the security engineering team for India and SAARC, advising the region's largest organisations on network, cloud, and endpoint defence.
At Pragya, Venu leads the technical capability — from service methodology to product architecture. His experience across banking, telecom, manufacturing, and utilities means clients get solutions that work in their specific environment, not just in theory.
Roopa brings rare credibility: an IIT Madras engineering foundation, an MBA from the University of Missouri, executive programmes at Wharton and George Washington University, and a career as Vice President at NTT DATA Business Solutions — one of the world's largest IT services firms. Her domain covers IT/OT convergence, global managed services, and product management at enterprise scale.
At Pragya, Roopa shapes the advisory practice and ensures every managed service engagement is designed to global standards — not just regional norms.
